Excited to announce that my first music video is now on YouTube! I worked with the uber talented Adam Finch to create my first video for 'Can You Hear Me?'. I was keen to have something simple but stylish. I didn't want anything over-produced. Being genuine is important to me.

Here is the link - I hope you enjoy it!

KMTV invited me on to their Thursday show on the 21st of September. It was such fun and I managed not to get tongue tied!! A few questions with the presenter and then a live performance of 'Let Me In', a song that I co-wrote with Scarlet Halton at the Ultimate Artist course this summer. Please see this link for the full interview and performance.

Late & Live Sessions in Whitstable in September was great fun. A chance for me to showcase a couple of new songs - both of which gained a great response from the audience. Whether the crowd is small or large, I love to perform. I am recording T-Shirt (a song I wrote at the start of this month) on Monday 26th September with the fabulous Guy Denning and my awesome guitarist Alex Farrimond. I am feeling lucky to have these people around me. I have been struggling to shift a bad cold and sore throat now for a month so it is time to go on voice rest. Until next time.

''I believe we have just witnessed a RISING STAR'' (Carlo Monticolombi, Promoter Late & Live Music Sessions).

The Grey Lady is a boutique venue in Tunbridge Wells with a cracking sound system and a friendly relaxed atmosphere. It was fun for me to perform there in September. along with two other seasoned artists. Here I performed the T-Shirt for the first time having written it that week. Thank you to Paul Dunton  for the opportunity.

"Katie Kittermaster is a deeply talented up and coming singer-songwriter. Katie is a truly engaging live performer who offers a varied mix of heartfelt, thought provoking songs which are rich in pop sensibilities and full of feeling and atmosphere".

September 9th was the 31st Hops & Harvest Boutique Festival in Kent. I was lucky enough to perform on the MAIN stage. Thank you for coming along and supporting me.

September - Had a great morning in North Kent filming the music video for Can You Hear Me - out soon!

Earlier in July 2017 I performed at The Big Day Out in Mote Park. This was an awesome event and I felt very lucky to be asked to do a full set. The crowd was 13K strong and were so friendly, singling along to my covers and even shouting out nice comments about by outfit. I sang a couple of my new original songs that haven't been recorded yet, which seemed to go down well. I sang after Reggie 'n' Bolley as well as a local group called The Gallerys. Diversity danced after me, followed by Christian Burrows, Atomic Kitten and Louisa Johnson. I was in very good company. I loved it and cannot wait to get back on that stage!

"Katie is a young singer-songwriter than you need to hear. Katie has the potential to grow in to a dazzling artist. Her lyrics are unique and delivered with a strong and beautiful voice." (Alex Ralis, Artisit Manager BDO).

"As a 16 year old, Katie has a voice of gold! She can control the crowd with out pushing herself.  With the music she is creating herself I can really see the future looking bright for her". (Jake Bailey, The Social Festival/The Big Day Out).

In June 2017, I played a set at The Bedford in Balham. A fantastic and very intimate venue in London. A very warm and welcoming crowd and some great musicians just doing what they do.

In early June 2017, I performed at The Woodlands Festival in Kent. A wonderful event with so much attention to detail. They have already booked me for next year, which is great as it was a well organised, fun and well thought out festival.

In May 2017, I was trilled to be announced as a Laurel Canyon Music 'Recommended Artist'. This meant a lot to me as they have some amazing artists on their site.

"Although still a teenager, Katie's vocals are haunting and distinctive. Her songwriting is based on her personal experiences, which resonate strongly with her peers. We really like Katie's vocals and they remind us of Jasmine Thompson".

Shorty after returning from Dubai, I was invited by City Showcase to perform at their event on the London Embankment. This took place in July 2016. This was a relaxed outdoor event which was my first live performance in the UK.

Whilst living in Dubai I was lucky enough to be invited to sing at The Global Gift Gala 2013. This prestigious event was hosted by Eva Longoria and Ricky Martn. Aged 13, this was one of my first live performances in front of such a large crowd. I sang Skinny Love by Birdy - to this day, still one of my favourite songs. It was a star-studded event for over 1000 people and 50Cent was also in attendance amongst others.

Earlier in 2013 I sang live on MBC - a day time TV channel in Dubai. It was organised through the school and I was first up! Loved it and as soon as it was over I wanted to do it again!!

A very early public performance was for The Help For Heroes Charity. I opened their annaul fundraiser at The British Embassy, performing to over 1,000 people. I sang 'Hero' by Mariah Carey.  I was only 13 at the time. I had no voice when I woke up on the morning of the event. Honey, lemon, bee-pollen and lots of water was the days' diet; the show must always go on!
